Dr. Madison Laycraft was born and raised just east of Calgary in Langdon and recently moved into Calgary. She has wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as she can remember, driven by a lifelong passion for animals and animal care. Madison graduated from the University of Calgary with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2026.
Outside of the clinic, Madison enjoys painting, baking, and spending time outdoors – especially during the warmer months. She also shares her life with two energetic family dogs: Ruger, a Welsh Springer Spaniel, and Blade, an English Springer Spaniel.
Madison’s veterinary interests are wide-ranging, and she is excited to continue exploring all aspects of veterinary medicine throughout her career. She currently has a special interest in palliative care and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Laycraft loves collaborating, learning, and working alongside our great West Springs Vet team while building meaningful relationships with her clients and patients.
